Eden Hall Foundation Approves Grants to Nurture Transformational Developments Across Pittsburgh Region

Following its autumnal board meeting, Eden Hall Foundation approved grants in human services, health, education, civic and community works, and the arts totaling $5,958,500. Among the grants awarded are the following:  
 
Allegheny Youth Development will purchase a van to ensure after-school and summer program participants have safe transportation to and from the program. 
 
STEM Coding Lab will expand their weekly computer science to Clairton City School District students throughout the 2024-25 school year.   
 
Hello Neighbor will provide supportive services to immigrants and refugees throughout the region. 
 
The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust will further develop the 8th Street Block in the Cultural District as a part of Downtown Pittsburgh’s comprehensive revitalization efforts.   
 
Reimagine Reentry will offer comprehensive reentry coaching services designed to support returning citizens holistically, enabling them to successfully reintegrate and thrive. 
 
CASA of Westmoreland, Inc. will strengthen its organizational capacity to ensure that child welfare-involved youth in Westmoreland County have stable and permanent homes.   
 
Literacy Council of Southwestern Pennsylvania will provide educational literacy and language programming to Fayette, Greene, Washington and Westmoreland Counties.   
 
Women’s Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh will build its technology infrastructure and capacity to ensure better client services and optimal organizational operations.   
 
Highmark Health will add behavioral health services to AHN Center for Inclusion Health’s mobile healthcare outreach program to improve health outcomes. 
 
Grow Pittsburgh will strengthen its organizational capacity by implementing key strategic initiatives. 
 
Program to Aid Citizen Enterprise will continue programming, advance the organization’s strategic objectives, and strengthen its position in supporting the region's nonprofit sector.
