The Clairton Youth Grantmakers, located at Clairton High School, is a group of students participating in a five-month program to learn about philanthropy and community impact in partnership with Eden Hall Foundation. The goal is to ignite their passion, equip them with the necessary tools and knowledge, and empower them to actively contribute to a more equitable and sustainable world—in their community and beyond.

The Clairton Youth Grantmakers are seeking proposals to make mini-grants in support of the Clairton City community and School District. Proposals are due no later than Friday, January 17, 2025. Please submit your proposal via the following link:
 https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/R7LFT7P

  • Local job creation (particularly for young adults)
  • Revitalizing/revisioning the Clairton Business District (examples include art installations, research projects, pop-up activities in unused spaces, etc.)
  • Positive youth development for Middle School students
  • Violence Prevention
  • In-school based activities
